Abstract
During the season of permanence of Southern Right whales (Eubalaena australis) in Valdes Peninsula, between the months of May and December 2014, 13 censuses were conducted from the Observatory of Whales “Punta Flecha”, on the coasts of Nuevo gulf (Chubut Province, Patagonia Argentina). The total number of registered whales varied between a maximum of 203 individuals (August 21) and a minimum of 2 individuals (May 29). Whales were not recorded in the first census (April 21) and in the last census (December 18).
