Abstract
This report details the results of three phases of mammalian survey corridor. the main objective of the project is to undertake a thorough survey of large mammals and other fauna in three key areas in the wakhan corridor of northeast Afghanistan: 1)the Big Pamir Wildlife Reserve, 2) the eastern end of the Little Pamir and 3)the eastern strip of the Waghjir Valley.
During the survey period from 2006-2007 ISTL team collected 94 scats of snow leopard, 84 scats of wolf and 13 scats of red fox and these scats where analyzed for food habits of these carnivores.
