Abstract
The Climate Change Discussion Paper was developed by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) to support development of a climate change action plan for Ontario. We outline several recommendations to address climate change mitigation and adaptation even though Ontario is not on track to meet its 2020 target for greenhouse gas emissions. We highlight the importance of Ontario's Far North in climate change adaptation and mitigation efforts and address the questions associated with the discussion paper.
