Abstract
This is a guide to the use of a tool designed for regional analysis, to serve as an aid in the selection of priority conservation areas, mainly in Colombia. The tool presented here was developed as a Toolbox for use with the ArcGIS ® Software is based on spatial analysis tools and ModelBuilder ™ to define the processes of the tool. Integrates variables indicating the importance of the ecosystem, what level of threat has, and identify where it may be appropriate to establish a protected area.
