Abstract
WCS Canada's Dr. Damien Joly shares expertise and recommendations before the Standing Committee for Environment and Sustainable Development about the development of a National Conservation Plan. Three fundamental areas of focus are recommended and elaborated upon: 1) conservation beyond protected areas, 2) protected area establishment and management, and 3) species conservation.
